What this notice covers
This notice explains how Blue Horizon Pools handles information you provide through bluehorizonpools.ca and basic information about visits to the website. By submitting an inquiry, you consent to us using the information to respond and, if requested, provide pool services. You can contact us by phone or text instead of using the form.
Information you choose to provide
The inquiry form asks for:
- your name;
- the pool service you are interested in;
- your city or postal code;
- a description of the work you need;
- your preferred contact method; and
- an email address, phone number, or both, so we can contact you as requested.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your project description. The website does not maintain a database of inquiries.
How we use inquiry information
We use it only to:
- understand the service and location involved;
- reply by your preferred contact method;
- discuss, arrange, and provide the work you request; and
- protect the form from spam, abuse, and repeated submissions.
We do not use form inquiries for marketing and do not send an automated reply or visitor confirmation.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website, runs the form endpoint, and provides tools that help identify automated or abusive submissions. Resend delivers each accepted inquiry to our private business inbox. These providers process information on our behalf under their own service and privacy terms, and their systems may operate outside Canada.
Anonymous website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, cookieless page-view measurements so we can understand which pages are useful. Information entered in the inquiry form is not sent to analytics, and we do not use advertising trackers on this website.
Retention
Because the website has no inquiry database, accepted inquiries are delivered by email. We keep inquiry emails and any related service records only while reasonably needed to respond, provide requested work, maintain appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted through our normal account and record-management practices. Service-provider logs and backups may remain for the providers' standard retention periods.
Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted website connections, server-side credentials, and limited access to the inquiry inbox. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction, or deletion
To ask what inquiry information we have, correct it, withdraw consent for future use, or request deletion, call or text us at 647-640-8253. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request. Some information may need to be kept for active service work, legal requirements, or routine backup periods.
We may update this notice when our website or information practices change. The date above shows the most recent update.
